MEMBER OF THE FFPP AND THE UPPC
Ajaccio Tino Rossi Marina is a member of the FFPP (French Federation of Recreational Harbours (www.ffports-plaisance.com) and the UPPC (Union of Corsican Recreational Harbours) (www.uppc.fr).

RECREATIONAL BOATING - A VECTOR OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Aware of the indisputable economic and social benefits generated by recreational boating and its essential role in the development of a territory like Corsica, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ajaccio and South Corsica has clearly positioned itself on this market for many years.
It is in this capacity that, since its creation in 2006, it has participated in the implementation of the seminal actions of the Union des Ports de Plaisance de Corse, i.e.:
- The digital networking of the ports (internet site, e-booking, statistics, etc.).
- The publication of a joint nautical chart.
- The installation of weather stations in the Harbour Offices.
- Participation in promotional events (fairs, fam trips, etc.).
- Membership in the FFPP (French Federation of Recreational Harbours).
This strategic programme, implemented in partnership with the Agency for the Development of Corsica and carried out in accordance with the 2008-2011 Collective Action plan, is part of the Boating Plan for Corsica developed by the Corsican Territorial Authority.
In the continuity of this action, the UPPC, which today groups 20 recreational harbours, naturally wished to consolidate this position over the long term and renew the partnership concluded with the Corsican Territorial Authority. On the strength of its experience and in accordance with its unifying ambitions, it renewed its commitment to the 2012-2014 Collective Action plan for "Recreational Boating and Water sports" established with the Corsican Tourism Agency around three main poles: Promotion, Reception and Communication.
